NAY PYI TAW, 2 kwietnia (Xinhua) – Parlament Związku Mjanmy ogłosił w czwartek, że w piątek wybierze prezydenta kraju, po tym jak trzech wiceprezydentów pomyślnie przeszło weryfikację kwalifikacji kandydatów na prezydenta.
Wiceprezydentami są Min Aung Hlaing, Nan Ni Ni Aye i U Nyo Saw.
We wtorek wybrani przedstawiciele Pyithu Hluttaw (Izby Niższej) i Amyotha Hluttaw (Izby Wyższej) wybrali odpowiednio Min Aunga Hlainga i Nan Ni Ni Aye na wiceprezydentów. U Nyo Saw został wybrany na wiceprezydenta przez grupę przedstawicieli wojskowych z obu izb Parlamentu Związku Mjanmy jeszcze tego samego dnia.
